Alive

I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!
Revelation 1:18

I am ... alone
weary
disconnected
weak
broken.

I feel ... turmoil
pain
loss
grief
sorrow
anger
resentment
doubt.

I have ... questions..

I lack ... patience...

Through Christ I have ... wisdom
trust
humility
strength.

Through Christ's faithfulness I am ... safe
protected
redeemed
reconciled
ALIVE!

I love this poem.
"Through Christ's faithfulness I am ... safe
protected
redeemed
reconciled
ALIVE!"
Isn't it amazing how we can turn all our troubles and failings over to Him and He turns them all into grace.
God Bless.
By the way I would be happy to add your lovely blog to my blogroll:0)

This seems to me as your shout of reconciliation exactly with yourself through Christ. And clearly...
I LIKED!

I wish Christ felt more real to me at this time. I can relate to this poem. Faith, I know, isn't a feeling, but a knowledge, a trust--nevertheless, sometimes our emotions and sensations are the only things that can lead us out of the pit called the dark night of the soul.

"The most important of life's battles is the one we fight daily in the silent chambers of the soul."
